Tracing Glory Ornament Activity Book

Last year our family enjoyed reading the ‘Tracing Glory’ devotional and now we can’t wait to get stuck into the accompanying activity book! Every day a new craft matches the story in the devotional – a mini picture of Noah’s ark, a lego tower, mini stone tablets, wooden peg Mary & Joseph and many more small ornaments. The crafts can be simplified for toddlers with a bit of effort, using the book for inspiration. Equally the ideas can be made even bigger and built upon for older kids or Sunday Schools to make a longer craft session. These short crafts are a great way to get the whole family involved in every devotion, with the ornaments as physical reminders of what the children have learnt each day. Ideal for those who can’t sit still while listening to a story, these crafts will keep little hands busy! A few extra activities are scattered throughout the book, like a themed word search, dot–to–dot, colouring in and Bible verse mix–up. The author has included variations for some crafts to make it easier for families to find the craft supplies and keep costs down. Finished ornaments could be displayed in the window to see every day or hung on the tree to remind you of God’s glory as you celebrate on Christmas Day. Well worth buying this activity book for any family who enjoys crafts, colouring and Christmas fun.

Tracing Glory Ornament Activity Book

This is a companion activity book to use with Tracing Glory: The Christmas Story Through the Bible, a twenty–five day advent devotional which begins by looking back at the creation of the world in the book of Genesis and ends up looking forward to the new creation in the book of Revelation, tracing the glory of Jesus Christ from start to finish. In this ornament activity book, you can create the ornament that corresponds to the key Scripture, and hang it up. All the crafts are well depicted in illustrations with step–by–step instructions. Nothing is complicated and templates are provided along with a comprehensive supply list for the materials needed. It is a great resource for family time or for Sunday School or midweek clubs. Buy this book and the advent devotional to go with it.
