John Knox is one of the most colourful figures in church history and his impact is still felt around the world. The real story of Knox surpasses the best fiction novels. Five hundred years after his death, Steven Lawson seeks in this book to ignite our faith for Jesus through Knox’s story. If you think of Knox as the dull Presbyterian, prepare to think again. Let this seminal figure in the history of the Scottish Reformation inspire you to stand firm in your faith and let God impact your spiritual life.

John Knox

I loved this book so much that I've ploughed through it in less than a day! Steven Lawson does a great job of bringing the colourful Scottish Reformer known as John Knox to life. He shows Knox to be a man prepared by God to change the world around him for the glory of Jesus, and though he was not without his faults, we see that John Knox was used in a mighty way to change the nation of Scotland forever. This is one of those biographies that doesn't just inform but also inspires and excites the reader to catch the vision and passion of the book's subject. This work was a thoroughly enjoyable and breath-taking read and I highly recommend it!
