Have Christians become so preoccupied with “major” sins that we have lost sight of our need to deal with more subtle sins?

Navpress author Jerry Bridges addresses the “acceptable” sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves, including pride and anger. He goes to the heart of the matter, exploring our feelings of shame and grief and opening a new door to God’s forgiveness and grace.

Travel down the road of spiritual formation with Jerry and discover your true identity as a loved child of God.

Like being stabbed over and over again (in a necessary/good way)

Respectable Sins is a book which highlights areas of life where you didn't even know you were turning away from God. It begins with a few chapters on the premise of sin and forgiveness before dedicating a chapter per sins that are often over looked by Christians, for example, unthankfulness, laziness, irritability. The single most challenging book in this area that I have read recently.
