Jerry Bridges (December 4, 1929 - March 6, 2016) was an evangelical Christian author, speaker and staff member of The Navigators. Born in Tyler, Texas, United States, he was the author of more than a dozen books, including The Pursuit of Holiness, which has sold more than one million copies.

Refreshing and important!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Holiness is important because God is important, and this book is a helpful reminder to pursue holiness in light of who He is and our relationship with Him. One aspect I found particularly helpful was thinking through how we can allow mindsets to creep in that aren't quite right even though they sound godly, and it was just so helpful for re-aligning my thinking about holiness in ways like that.
