Christians often find themselves on the back foot when speaking with Muslims, struggling to answer questions about the divinity of Christ, the Trinity, and charges about the Bible having been corrupted. The authors – modelling their approach on Jesus' methodology of teaching and engaging people with questions – present their own carefully constructed questions and answers. Along the way they delve into what the Qur'an and other Islamic teachings say, so that conversations can get to the heart of the matter.

In this slim volume, the authors help the reader to grasp two contrary world views – Islam and Christianity.

"For anyone who might be daunted by the idea of speaking with Muslims about Jesus Christ, here is an excellent resource with a whole series of questions for conversation starters arranged in a simple set of topics. It is full of ideas and information and explanations, presented simply and briefly, and does not demand an expert knowledge of Islam. As someone who has engaged in this kind of evangelism, I can see that it could be a really useful resource, and I warmly commend it." - Graham Nicholls, Director of Affinity

"Readers will benefit from the deep understanding displayed by the authors of how Islamic teaching contrasts with Biblical teaching. I wholeheartedly recommend this book as an excellent resource for all those who want to see their Muslim friends impacted by the life-giving power of the Gospel." - Archbishop Professor Thomas Schirrmacher, PhD, DD, Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance

"This is a very significant work which every Christian can benefit from reading, and particularly Christians interacting with Muslim friends. I note that the authors speak of and with the Muslims as friends and so win their respect. Muslims like questions and are normally happy to discuss their faith and Christianity. But what to ask them? This book contains a wide spectrum of basic questions that won't be offensive but will be challenging. And gives answers! The book follows our Lord's approach to people of His day: He asked them questions and answered theirs!" - Dr John Peet, former missionary elder, Grace Church Guilford

Tim Dieppe

Tim is Head of Public Policy at Christian Concern which he joined in 2016. Tim's special interest is in Islamic affairs. This interest developed after the 2001 attacks which prompted him to study the nature of Islam, including sharia finance. Tim connected with Christian Concern after being asked to run a sharia fund which he refused to do. This led him to become more involved in combatting the increasing influence of sharia law in the UK.

Tim regularly appears in the media and writes articles for Christian Concern on current moral and political issues of interest to Christians. He also often teaches in churches and at various conferences and events. Tim has a degree in Mathematics with Computation from Oxford University. Tim also holds an MA (Distinction) in Kingdom Theology from Westminster Theological Centre. Tim has two children. He plays an active role in his local church: Trinity London. Tim also enjoys walking, reading, photography, board games, and bird watching.
