Between running children from football to music lessons to math tutoring, where does the responsibility of God-ordained parenting fit in? In this wisdom-packed booklet, Alistair Begg explains that Scripture lays out a role for parents that extends far beyond that of carpool driver and homework helper.

Drawing from the book of Ephesians, Alistair provides clear and practical accountabilities for both mothers and fathers that are God ordained. When God’s design for parenting is followed, everyone in the family thrives, and children grow into healthy-minded, God-honoring adults.

Parenting God's Way

This book is a short encouragement to fathers not to abdicate their parental responsibilities, and to mothers to keep going. The only downside is that it says on page 1 that the nation's (sc. America) biggest problem is family breakdown, when of course that is only a symptom of the deeper problem of sin. Nonetheless it is a good book to give to Christian parents.
