Quantity

Many of us are serving, and feel like we’re sinking. We feel joyless, weary and burdened. John Hindley shows how Jesus was telling the truth when He offered people an “easy yoke” – a way of serving Him that is joyful and liberating. He explains why serving is so often joyless – and how our identity in Christ changes everything.

If you are serving, but sometimes feel as though you’re sinking… you need this book!

Serving without sinking

I was bowled over by how much I related to the completely wrong motives for serving that the book challenged, and then amazed at the true reasons we have to serve. This book completely transformed my view of service, drawing me back to Jesus and his servant–hearted love towards me.

Serving without sinking

Having had my own struggles with serving it was refreshing how open and honest John Hindley was about his own experiences. He identified so many of the mistakes we all make and how we can turn those good intentions back on track. It’s the best book I’ve found on serving and I recommend it to anyone involved with servicing at/with the Church.

Serving without sinking

This is a totally readable excellent book, practical, helpful and challenging. Addresses wrong thinking about our "service" of Christ, and remind us of the joy and freedom we have in being served by him, and friends with Jesus. I loved it.
