Often when you get a new group of children/young people – or even adults together it is hard to get them to intergrate and chat they naturally migrate to people they know. Icebreakers play an important part in helping to get young people to connect with each other in a group setting. They are a great way to encourage the shy and quieter ones as well as encouraging team play amoungst each other. They encourage listening, cooperation, social skills as well as just getting to know each other.
