These 90 days of Bible reading notes are written by Esther Smith (Co-founder CFL) and produced by Caring For Life, a Christian registered charity in Leeds.
They were originally written by her, for people being supported by Caring For Life. Many had experienced the love of Jesus through the care they had received and had begun to ask questions about the Saviour and to show interest in His Word. Some had learning disabilities and literacy problems, some were dealing with complex mental health issues and some had been abused and neglected and were living with the consequences of that. Many had never heard the gospel before.
These notes are designed to be accessible in every way, communicating the deep truths of Scripture, using simple language and manageable ideas and are presented in a full colour glossy book.
Further aims are: to help people to establish a daily time reading the Bible, to encourage spiritual growth and to help people to settle into a church.
The notes have since been trialled by many different groups and have been found to be helpful in a wide range of settings.
