This is an excellent exposition of Psalms 13 to 24.

Dale Ralph Davis says in his preface, “The title of this collection tries to bring together twin realities: that the Lord’s servant is called to live faithfully (being led and walking in ‘the paths of righteousness’) and that much of it is slow going (slogging along), simply wading through a bunch of trouble (note, for example, Psalms 13, 17, 22)”. His style is informal and conversational.
