Esther Smith is Co-Founder of Caring For Life, a Christian registered charity in Leeds.

After studying Theology and Hebrew at Leeds University, Esther worked in local authority children’s homes for 13 years, before helping to found Caring For Life and working for the charity for 33 years. The privilege of helping to lead Bible studies for those supported by Caring For Life, demonstrated the need for Bible reading notes which are thoroughly accessible, assuming no prior knowledge of the Bible or the Christian faith, also helping people to establish a daily routine of reading God’s Word.  Esther is a member of Grace Community Church Leeds North.
