From Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden to Zion and the new creation world, the Bible is telling one big story—the story of God's promise to deliver his people. Kevin DeYoung, best-selling author of The Biggest Story, has written a new board book to help kids ages 1 to 3 to make connections from Genesis to Revelation and from A to Z. Each page introduces a new letter of the alphabet with engaging and whimsical illustrations from award-winning artist Don Clark, retelling the biblical narrative in one continuous story. This board book is a fun way for parents to introduce their small children to the big story of the Bible.

The Biggest Story ABC

We've been going through this as a family together now for the last few weeks. It's a 26-point (!) Bible overview, as a board book, starting at Adam (A) and finishing with our final home: Zion (Z), that is a surprisingly good way for children to learn. Our 7 year old could remember it after going through 2 or 3 times and our 2 year old can now remember about third to half of them after 15/20 times! So it works for a big range of ages and I personally am a big fan! One or two letters are a bit dubious (eg 'X' is 'Christ is our eXample!) but then 'X' is always a tough one for normal ABC alphabets let alone the Bible version...so that very small point aside I would heartily recommend to families to give a go and ground their family in a good Bible overview.

Excellent way for children to learn a Bible overview
