OCD

Having suffered with Obsessive, compulsive thought disorder(a variant of OCD) in the past and currently knowing several with OCD, I ordered the book eagerly. It is short and concise, but to the point. The booklet addresses the possible underlying sins behind the obsessions which is obviously a very different stance from secular counsellors. I get the impression that the book is intended mainly for those who are counsellors but i found it eye-opening and sobering. It really would be down to the sufferer to discern where their heart is in all this and whether it is indeed sinful ways of thinking that need to be changed. I think more could have been said as to how medication can be a help for some for whom there is a clear fault in the brain. This is only touched upon in the booklet.Overall, interesting and potentially, very helpful booklet for sufferers of OCD and possibly for those who suffer anxiety too.
