Essays by a highly regarded biblical counselor. Some of these pieces exegete Scripture with a counseling perspective, while others recast specific “psychological” problems.

“Dave Powlison has profoundly impacted my ministry by teaching me the discipline of seeing life through the lens of Scripture rather than the other way around. The crumbs from Dave’s table—his most casual comments—have nourished me for years.”
– Ken Sande President, Peacemaker Ministries

“In the book, David’s conviction that for us to rightly understand people, their problems and the solution to those problems, we must see them through the lens of Scripture comes through with clarity. With fresh insight and skillful creativity, he demonstrates that the Bible when rightly understood speaks with the full weight of God’s own authority. “
– Wayne Mack Director, Strengthening Ministries International

“If you need help understanding your own life or desire to help others do the same, Seeing with New Eyes will transform your perspective and focus your faith on the sufficient truth of Scripture and on our Scripture’s God. I heartily recommend it!”
– Elyse Fitzpatrick, author and conference speaker

“Reading this book is a rich experience for counselors and for everyone who wants to apply God’s Word to his or her life.”
– John Frame, Reformed Theological Seminary, Florida
