We were so blessed to meet together for our Point to Jesus Webinar, discussing and sharing ideas and resources to help us point our young people, our congregations, and our community, to Jesus this Christmas.

Family Advent
Ditch the cheap chocolate cartoon advent calendars and grab one that share’s the true reason for the season. A4 calendars have a picture and part of the story for each day. If you really want some chocolate, grab your favourites from the supermarket and eat one as you open the calendar.
Family Devotions
Tracing Glory tracks the Christmas Story throughout the Bible and helps children ground Jesus’ birth in the Old Testament. The accompanying ornament activity book enables you to create a hand-crafted decoration to match each section of the story which can then be added to a tree or displayed in the home.
Each day take some time to gather round the candle to think about the name of Jesus shown for that day. You can simply read out the name, discuss the meaning, or pray together about that aspect of Jesus. This year we have red and the classic ivory candles available.
Inside the small pot you will find 25 dipper sticks. Each day during you select a dipper and follow the instructions: A key theme, a bible passage, a question and a prayer.
Toddler Crafting
The Unexpected Gift Activity Book takes the stress away from crafting, as each page is printed directly onto sturdy card and is perforated for easily detaching. Just grab some colours and glue and you’re ready to craft through the Christmas story.
Advent Reading
We have a number of advent devotionals which are perfect for the whole congregation to read together. Why not start a WhatsApp to discuss your reflections during advent, or take a moment in your home group to consider what you’ve been learning. We love to see the church supporting and encouraging one another, and we have managed to keep the price for bulk orders at just £1 a copy.
This year’s new devotion, Comfort and Joy, is from Matt Searles and takes a look at Isaiah 40-55.
