There are many ways to get off track, but there is only one way to find it again.

Said Jesus of Nazareth, the most convincing and at the same time the most controversial Teacher of all time. This book clarifies His seemingly illogical statement: For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Authors from different corners of the world talk about change, healing and hope in the midst of difficulties. Joni Eareckson Tada, Sam Allberry, Christopher Yuan, Aixa de López and many others share with us how God found them in danger, in the midst of toil and pitfalls.

"I never thought life was easier or better. But I realized that God is with me, that Jesus walks with me through the valleys with the shadow of death, that he leaves the ninety-nine to find me who calls to him. That he promises me nothing in this world except that the God of the universe sees, knows and loves me and in the next world I will see Him face to face when He lifts the burden of my sin and the evil of this fallen world.
