The John Experiment

Memorising is not popular nowadays. People seem to think it is a gift only a few people have. I have found that with just a little dedication, you can memorise a lot more than you think you can. Andrew Page offers in the John Experiment, Mark Experiment and the Matthew Experiment an incredibly helpful way of learning the order of events of the gospels that helps you to dive into them deeper. You can even do Bible study while on a walk, reviewing the events in your mind and praying as you go! Short, simple, and a refreshing way of getting into God's Word. Have a go!

The John Experiment

Through this book, Andrew helpfully gives a structure and explains the whole of the Gospel of John in a memorable way. This book, as John's gospel is, is centered around who Jesus is. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to see who the real Jesus is and it is especially suitable for a new Christian who isn't used to reading the Bible.

The John Experiment

Following on from the Mark Experiment, the John Experiment invites the believer to look afresh at the gospel. Andrew has a unique way of seeing structure in the gospels, which make them easy to learn. As the Bible tells us to meditate on Scripture continuously, I find this resource a great help. After learning the structure, I can often reflect on a section and see new insights or just be lead to pray through it and apply it. I whole heartily recommend to all!

The John Experiment

I've recently started using the John Experiment and am finding it is helping me to think about aspects of John's gospel that I'd not really noticed before, despite thinking it is well known. I'm taking it quite slowly and thinking about what I've learnt during the day, but not perhaps in the shower!

The John Experiment

Often we read John's gospel in seperate chunks. This book really helps you have a framework in your mind so you know what part of John you are in, what happened before and after, so you can really get the gist of John's gospel. And you can remember it!

The John Experiment

The book sets out to help you "do bible study in the shower" by committing to memory the order of events and teaching in John's gospel. I don't have a great memory but within 10 minutes I had managed to recite the introduction and the first section of John. This is so helpful for thinking about scripture when you don't have a bible in front of you. A second brilliant work by the author and hugely helpful for christian life.
