Living in Love and Faith: A Biblical Response

Where are the sheep being led?

Living in Love and Faith (LLF) is a set of resources produced by the bishops of the Church of England to help Christians discern God’s will on issues of ‘identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage.’ As church members and clergy engage with this process, we need to know:

What the LLF resources contain

How to assess them theologically

This book explains the background and content of the LLF material, then looks at where it falls short.

Is it biblical for churches to bless same-sex couples? How can the church welcome everyone in love and in faith, including LGBTQI+ people? Will the C of E return to its historic roots? Is division inevitable? What should we do now? Each question is critical. The book closes with four points of action.
