Moses and the Very Big Rescue

Tim Thornborough and Jennifer Davison

In this faithful and innovative retelling of the classic Bible story of the Israelites' exodus from Egypt, children of 2-5 years old will discover what happened when Moses told Pharaoh to Let my people go and Pharaoh said, No, no, no!

Children will be invited to join in as they count down from 10 to zero to see how God rescues his people from slavery in Egypt with signs and wonders.

It teaches some interesting numerical skills to children and has bright, vivid, fun-filled illustrations by Jennifer Davison.

Moses and the Very Big Rescue

A delightfully fresh re–telling of the Israelites’ escape from Egypt, this book is perfect for little hearts and minds. The story is clearly told and beautifully illustrated, leaving nothing out of the Biblical tale whilst making it vividly understandable. The book is aimed at 2–5 year olds, and it’s very well judged for that age group. The repeated phrases exchanged by Moses and Pharoah are ideal for preschoolers to learn and say along, and the countdown is integral but fun! An engaging tale that amuses and educates – parents and kids will love it. I for one can’t wait to read the other titles in the series.
