This book starts from the resurrection of Jesus and the early church in Acts, and covers every century up to 2008 with the publication of the ESV Bible. As someone who wants to learn more church history myself and teach it to my children, this is perfect for picking out the key events and piecing it all together. This book is beautifully designed and the timelines are so helpful. The book is full of wonderful illustrations, pictures and maps that give them book so much interest – it’s far from just a list of dates and facts. I think we will use those book for years.
