A refreshing read in the face of everything secular culture tells us about ourselves

This book starts with addressing the temptation to prioritise ourselves and go along with what culture encourages us to believe and say about ourselves. What I love about this book is that it is all about the gospel - knowing the gospel, growing in our understanding of the gospel, rehearsing the gospel to ourselves, praying that God would remind us of the beauty of the gospel! In a society that is often looking for the next great new idea, I love the reminder that we don't need something new - Jesus is enough and we have all we need in Christ. There are reflection questions at the end of each chapter too, so this would work great as a book to read one-to-one or in a small group as well.
