The teen years have been hijacked—by fashion, music, movies, and games; by the pressures of school, peers, and society; and by superficial expectations set by the world. But there is something more glorious than all these influences that has the power to change the life of a teenager: the gospel. Written by a teenager for teenagers, This Changes Everything is a deeply theological yet practical and accessible book on how the gospel radically transforms every aspect of the teen years, including pursuing relationships, managing time, combating personal sin, and cultivating healthy habits. In a culture awash with low expectations for young people, this book exhorts teenagers to embrace a gospel–centered perspective on their lives and pursue wholehearted devotion to Christ now.

A helpful book for teens to help them growth in their faith.

This book is written by an older teenager who is past the age of applying for college and she is aiming this book at those in their teens to show how Jesus changes everything. She thinks through things such as our identity in Christ and what that means our identity isn't in, what it means to be a part of the church, and how we grow in holiness. It was well-written and thought through, and the topics she deals with are ones that teens will be thinking about already or that would be great for them to start thinking about. I think her example and thinking will be helpful as an example to those who read this. It is written by someone in an American context and the author has a Christian family who speak about things of faith with her and an encouraging church context. I can foresee someone reading this book and desiring those things if it isn't their experience thus far, so it would be great to be able to read this alongside someone older in the church.
