I rarely read a book more than once, but this is one of them. I’ve also bought at least 6 copies and given them to friends. A book through which you can hear the voice of women, as the author retells the story of a number of female characters from the Old and New Testaments. Rivers unpacks the history and culture of their story and brings them alive. Totally amazing book, I would highly recommend. If you’re looking for a Summer read – it’s like 5 novels in one.
