We’re delighted to announce the work of 10Giving, a charity created to support the distribution of gospel resources across the UK and around the world. Using funds donated by 10ofthose.com and other supporters, 10Giving seeks to support churches, Christian organisations and individuals by providing grants to purchase Christian literature for discipleship and evangelism.
10Giving supplies prisons, schools, colleges and universities with resources, as well as provides support to churches and parachurch organisations to enable them to give resources away in their area. This has resulted in many opportunities to connect with people all walks of life—from international dignitaries to youth and others.
"We are hugely grateful for 10Giving’s support of our camps ministry," writes Yorkshire Camps. "They donate a wide range of age-appropriate books in order that each camper can choose a free book at the end of their stay. These are always enthusiastically received, and there is a buzz around the table as the young people make their selection. These books contribute enormously to the discipleship of campers after camp is over.”
The story behind 10Giving
Founded by Jonathan Carswell in 2007, 10ofThose has always kept charity and the support of mission work at the heart of our operations. From that heart came 10Giving, which was officially registered as a charity in 2023. 10Giving shares in the firm belief of 10ofThose that everyone should be given the opportunity to know God’s love and grow in their faith, regardless of their circumstances. It is through the profits of 10ofThose and the generous donation of individuals that 10Giving is able to distribute Christian literature.
“UBM has had very close and strong links with 10ofthose ever since it first started. Their generosity has had a material impact on reaching a lost world for the Lord Jesus," writes United Beach Missions. "Through their prayer and practical help and the provision of books and grants 10Giving has enabled thousands of evangelistic resources to be given away by our mission teams.”
10Giving is overseen by a Board of Trustees who ensure fair and generous grant giving. Comprised of Jonathan Carswell, Alistair Chalmers, Rachel Lawrence, and Geoffrey Haire, the board meets three times yearly to allocate funds and prayerfully consider applications for funding.
